Biographic data

Date and place of birth: May 18, 1951 in Timisesti, Neamt, Romania.

 

Career

  • In 1975, I graduated the Polytechnic Institute of Iasi, Romania, Faculty of Electrotechnics, Speciality of Applied Electronics.

  • Between 1975 and 1978 I worked as service engineer of electronic equipments in the Trucks Enterprise Brasov Romania.

  • Between 1978 and 1979 I worked as a design engineer in the Enterprise for Transducers and Self-operated Controllers Pascani, Romania.

  • From 1979 to present I have been with the Technical University “Gh.Asachi” of Iasi, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with the following didactical levels: 1979-1987, teaching assistant; 1987-2000, lecturer; 2000-present, associate professor.

  • In 1999 I received the Ph.D. degree in Metrology from the Technical University “Gh.Asachi” of Iasi.

Professional skills

  • measurement of thermal energy and fluid parameters.

  • measurement of insulation resistance.

  • microcontrollers applications in measurements (hardware design).
