Assoc.Prof.dr.ing. Radu Ursulean graduated the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the "Gh.Asachi" Technical University of Iaşi, specialty Electronics and Telecommunications in 1982.

Received Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the "Gh.Asachi" Technical University of Iaşi in 1997 with dissertation title "Contribution to the study of electrical circuit sensitivity".
