HOW TO GET TO IAŞI
Iaşi, the old capital of Moldavia, is situated at about 400 km to the north-east from Bucharest, the capital of Romania. In order to get to Iaşi, several options are available: |

A) By plane, using the flights that land in:
A1) Bucharest – Otopeni Airport Then use the internal flights of the Tarom Company, on the route Bucharest (Baneasa Airport) – Iaşi. The flights from Bucharest to Iaşi will take about one hour. Internal flights TAROM COMPANY
A2) You can use the international flights of Carpatair Company.

B) By train
International trains will arrive in Bucharest (Bucuresti Nord Railway Station). There are 6 trains available from Bucharest to Iaşi (trains will take 5-6 hours to get from Bucharest to Iaşi).

Further detailsFrom the Bucharest Otopeni International Airport terminal via Bucharest Baneasa Airport for internal flights to the city center of Bucharest there are buses every half an hour. A ticket will cost about (0.6 USD). You can also take a taxicab – the charge will be of about 10 USD. If you use the bus to get to Bucuresti Nord Railway Station, get down at Piata Victoriei, wherefrom you can take the underground for one station.
